palanki-narayana I apologise if your feelings are hurt. A few months ago there was a photo of a Salarjung artefact and someone raised the same question but got no answer. Now the air is clear.
palanki-narayana This is the 300 tonne statue of Lord Buddha erected on the Rock of Gibraltor in the Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad. In the first effort, the boats carrying the statue capsized and the statue sank, apart from many lives lost. The statue was salvaged and set up, it is major tourist attraction now.
