Visited Pachwas in UP for a photoshoot. Pachwas is stated to be housing largest colony of Open Billed Stork in Asia. Suddenly noticed this pair, as if maintaining a three sixty degree vigil. It was a split second shot because as soon as I clicked it, the pair shifted its position.

I was doing a photoshoot at Sandi Bird Sanctuary when I spotted this Sarus Pair engrossed in courtship dance, away from prying eyes of everyone. The guide accompanying me also congratulated me saying it was a rare sighting for any visitor. It was a truly jackpot moment for me.

I shot this photo while travelling the Batalik region of Ladakh. The previous crop had been harvested and the step farms were being readied for oncoming sowing season.
