In the first effort, the boats carrying the statue capsized and the statue sank, apart from many lives lost. The statue was salvaged and set up, it is major tourist attraction now.

palanki narayanaWhen I visited this temple, I was asked to leave out the camera. The security forgot about camera phones, which many devotees used for clicking pictures of Srila Prabhupada's idol in the sanctorum!
balajee ksJan 2018, when I went I was not allowed to carry my mobile...so I have to leave it outside with the cab driver... and Security asked me to remove my pant leather belt and sent it inside so that I could it collect it later on entering the premises..security arrangements are in place and good also..

Debmalya MazumderThanks a lot Sir. Actually the platform on which my instrument was fixed was vibrating with the wave of the river. Frequent water vessels were running and also I didn't had much time. So conditions were not in favour to me. However it was managed to some extent.
